Music is everywhere – you can’t go anywhere or do anything without music being a part of your day. Driving in the car, on the way to work, at home watching television; music is always there. Music means a lot to us, too.

There are many reasons why music is so important to each and every one of us, but one of the main reasons is that we relate to it. Some songs just speak to us and give us words to what we’re feeling. I’m sure you have a song right now that you can think of that is important to you, in one way or another.

Maybe you even have the lyrics of your favorite song or a quote by your favorite musician tattooed on your body, framed in your bedroom, or on your social media pages. Part of that is personal preference, but another part of it could have something to do with astrology.

Just like the type of music you like listening to, astrology can say a lot about the kind of person you are. You’ve read your horoscope before and you might have even felt like it totally described you perfectly. Based on your zodiac sign, there’s a music genre that speaks to you the most. It might not necessarily be your ultimate favorite genre, but whenever you’re listening to music for that specific genre, you get all kinds of feels from it.

What’s so amazing about all the different kinds of music genres out there is that they’re all important in some way. They’re a form of expression, the communicate how we feel inside and out, and they bring us together, as individuals and cultures.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Leo, you’re a leader by heart, so it’s not uncommon for you to be attracted to other leaders, too – including chart-topping leaders of the music industry. You will listen to pretty much any genre and enjoy it, but your favorite is definitely the pop genre. You love songs that you can both sing to and shake your butt to, and you’ve always got the newest singles pumping in your earbuds.
